Nouran Lighting was founded in Saudi Arabia in 1978 with a mission to fuel Saudi Arabia's first economic expansion by supplying stunning chandeliers and decorative lighting fixtures to the nation's marquee residential projects.

In an effort to diversify our business strategy, we expanded into the neighboring United Arab Emirates in the late '80s and established a foothold in both Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai to cater to the markets ever increasing project lighting requirements. It was at this point that Nouran positioned itself ideally to take advantage of Dubai's economic miracle. In 2002, demand for our specialized design services necessitated an expansion into Qatar where we invested our efforts in growing our project portfolio.

2006 saw Nouran's return to its Syrian origins. Headquartered in Damascus and by way of a satellite office in Tartous; Nouran is in a position to supply our architectural lighting design, supply and control services throughout the nation.

Ultimately, 2007 dawned with Nouran returning to its origins in Saudi Arabia via a joint venture with Roots Group Arabia. With sales teams in both Jeddah as well as Riyadh, we look forward to extending our architectural lighting design, supply and control solutions throughout the Kingdom.
